Recreational boats fuel update
A couple of weeks ago I sent out a notice that marine fuel for recreational boats was “non-essential”. Well that is now changed. If you sent that out to any customers please give them an update – or use this as an opportunity to connect with all of your boating clientele.
It looks like things may be are starting to open up a little – we think May 1 there are going to be changes.
Rocco’s Tacos (the Mexican Restaurant on Las Olas) has been literally boarded up for a month. They just took all the boards down – Maybe they are planning on a “cinco de mayo” event?
From the website:
Welcome to historic Lauderdale Marina, located along the inland waterway in the yachting capital of the world, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We’re one of the region’s oldest family owned & operated marinas (established in 1948). Lauderdale Marina is prized for its enviable location just minutes from Port Everglades and the Atlantic Ocean. We’re a full service marina on the Intracoastal Waterway featuring the award-winning Fifteenth Street Fisheries restaurant, a massive 365′ fuel dock with diesel, ethanol-free gas and convenient dock store, a Boston Whaler boat dealership, service & parts departments, plus premium boat slips which can accommodate yachts up to 165 feet.
Our large fuel dock is the most popular boat fueling station along the Intracoastal Waterway in South Florida. The convenience of boat trip preparation so close to the Port Everglades inlet to the Atlantic Ocean makes our prime Fort Lauderdale location ideal for all recreational boaters, as well as the many large yachts moored in our marina and nearby.
Our dock cam is one of the most popular on the Earthcam network and received special recognition in 2016 as being a fascinating virtual visit for boaters around the world who check out the live dock scene both night and day.
