Buying on the Waterfront
Buying on the waterfront requires that you work with someone who knows all the rules and regulations you will have to know if you have a boat. There are so many canals and rivers to choose from but your boat at dock cannot use more than 30% of the canal and you cannot have your boat encroach on the adjacent property, so the dimensions of your boat are very important. Each area has its own rules such as setbacks, canal depths and widths and whether or not you can live aboard. Our Associates know how to guide you on any of these issues.
