This large area east of Powerline Road and north of Sunrise Boulevard is almost entirely without waterways. It is a middle class neighborhood, well kept and still close to all the amenities offered by Fort Lauderdale. It is similar in many ways to Oakland Park. Within its borders there is Searstown, The Christmas Store which is open all year, and they do have access to Holiday Park, a city park which has running trails, tennis courts, and baseball diamonds.
