Sailboat Bend Ft. Lauderdale, FL

This area features many original small homes of character and charm -  the cottages, and homes of yesteryear, shaded by huge, stately century old trees and  foliage  It is a well tended area with colorful landscaping, and residents who truly seem to love their community. This charming neighborhood is situated just outside of the downtown Ft. Lauderdale  Las Olas area in an artsy historic neighborhood. It is conveniently walking distance from the clubs and bars of the downtown Las Olas Himmarshee area yet close to I95 for quick access to the highway on your way to and from work. The Villages of Sailboat Bend are charming, Key West style townhouses, which are pretty new. They feature wood flooring, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and modern appliances.  The prices have gone down since the past couple of years, but it depends on the condo owner.  The Sailboat Bend Artist Lofts and historic West Side School are two very interesting features.
